GARLAND (WBAP/KLIF)- Testimony is underway in a trail connected to the terror attack at the Curtis Culwell center in Garland last year.
Federal prosecutors say Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem provided the guns used by Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi, in the attack at the anti-Mohammed event. They were killed and a security guard was injured in the shoot-out.
Investigators say Abdul Kareem took the pair to target practice and was supposed to come with them to Garland the day of the attack.
Abdul Kareen is believed to be the first person the U.S. government has tried on terror charges linked to ISIS.
The trial is expected to last at least five weeks.
