(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – Dr. May Lau is a professor in the pediatrics department at UT Southwestern Medical Center specializing in adolescent sexual and reproductive health. Paxton’s lawsuit claims that Dr. Lau provided hormone replacement therapy to 21 minors, and used false diagnoses and billing codes in order to hide illegal prescriptions. Last year, Texas passed a law banning hormone replacement therapy, and gender transition treatments for minors. If found to be in violation of the law, Dr. Lau could be fined and have her medical license suspended.]
